陈锟山,国家特聘专家, 桂林理工大学特聘教授, 博士生导师, IEEE Fellow,欧洲科学院(Academia Europaea)外籍院士。长期从事电磁波散射机理、遥感影像和信号处理与应用等方面的研究。承担加拿大CCRS-机载Globe-SAR (1993)、NASA环太平洋机载雷达飞行实验 PACRIM I & II (1996,2000), 美国Intermap-机载SAR (2004) 台湾地区计划主持人,美国SMAP卫星计划、日本JAXA ALOS-2卫星计划科学小组成员。曾任IEEE GRSS 理事(2010-2014),IEEE JSTARS创刊副总主编, Proceedings of IEEE 编委 (2014-2019)。现任IEEE-GRSS Fellow Committee (2018 ~ ), IEEE Access编委,IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (2001~ ), Remote Sensing, Progress in Electromagnetic Research, International Journal of Digital Earth, Big Earth Data 等期刊副主编、客座主编。已发表SCI论文180多篇; 著有专章节10章,英文专著四册《Microwave Scattering and Emission Models for Users (with A. K. Fung): Artech House, USA》(2010年),《Principles of Synthetic Aperture Radar: A System Simulation Approach: CRC Press, USA》(2015年)。X. Li, H. Guo, K. S. Chen, X. Kun-Shan Chen received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1990. From 1992-2014, he was a professor at the National Central University, Taiwan, China From 2014-2019, he was with the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Since 2019, he joined Guilin University of Technology as a national distinguished professor, where his research interests include microwave remote sensing theory, modeling, system, and measurement, and intelligent signal processing and data analytics for radar. He has authored and co-authored over 180 referred journal papers, over 200 onference papers, contributed 10 book chapters, co-author (with A. K. Fung) of “Microwave Scattering and Emission Models for Users”, Artech House, 2010, author of “Principles of Synthetic Aperture Radar: A System Simulation Approach,” CRC Press, 2015, co-editor (with X. Li, H. Guo, X. Yang) of “Advances in SAR Remote Sensing of Ocean”, CRC Press, FL, USA, 2018, “Radar Scattering and Imaging of Rough Surface: Modeling and Applications with Matlab©”, CRC Press, 2020. His academic activities include as a Guest Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing Special Issue on Remote Sensing for Major Disaster Prevention, Monitoring and Assessment (2007), Guest Editor for the Proceedings of IEEE Special Issue on Remote Sensing for Natural Disaster (2012), IEEE GRSS Adcom member (2010-2014), a founding chair of the GRSS Taipei Chapter, an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing since 2000, as founding Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations, and Remote Sensing (2008-2010). He serves as guest editors of the special issue of Data Restoration and Denoising of Remote Sensing Data, and special issues of Radar Imaging Theory, Techniques, and Applications, both for Remote Sensing, and was Co-Chair of Technical Committee for IGARSS 2016, IGARSS2017, InGARSS 2020. He served as a member of the editorial board of the Proceedings of the IEEE served as a member of the editorial board of the Proceedings of the IEEE (2014-2019), and has been a member of the editorial board of the IEEE Access since 2020. He is a Fellow of IEEE, a foreign member of Academia Europaea and received the 2021 IEEE GRSS Fawwaz Ulaby Distinguished Achievement Award for his contributions to microwave scattering and emission modelling of rough surface, and radar image simulation and understanding.
